In order to help employees to get a general and clear idea about the process of briquette making process, all of us visit the briquette plants. This is the first time I came here and have curiosity about everything. The manager of the plant shows us around, the design center, R&D department, parts processing and assembly department and test center. The manager says design is the key part in briquette making, and should make sure it matches with the advanced technology and production cost. Normally, there are three kinds’ design, namely, creative design, improving design and transformative design. As the design center, most employees are young. They have tried their best to develop the briquetting machines which the people need in daily life. Parts processing and assembly department takes times and patience. Nontraditional machining and heat treatment are the common way in the briquette making. The test center is responsible for the quality and operation test.
Besides the things I mentioned above, I do care their living standards in this plant. Like other plants, this plant is located in suburbs, so it is not convenient for employees in the plant for fun. In order to provide the best service with them, there is shuttle bus in the briquette making plant, and employees can go to downtown anytime they want.
